The City of Edmonton is seeking feedback on zoning bylaw amendments.
The city has provided this link which contains a summary of what is being proposed as part of this round of amendments, while this link features a more detailed markup of the bylaw and a rationale for each amendment.
The City is asking for anyone interested to provide feedback to daniel.morin@edmonton.ca by end of day March 3, 2024. Any additional feedback outside of the scope of these amendments can be submitted at any time using the Zoning Bylaw Feedback Form
Background
The city advises that the Zoning Bylaw 20001 comprehensively replaces Zoning Bylaw 20001 comprehensively replaces Zoning Bylaw 12800, which was first adopted in 2001. Although Zoning Bylaw 12800 was reviewed, updated and adopted in 2001, the last significant overhaul was completed in 1961, when Edmonton's population was 276,000. Today, Edmonton has grown to a population of more than one million and is on pace to reach 1.25 million by 2030.

Community League members are entitled to up to a 20 % discount on admission passes or memberships at City of Edmonton Sports and Fitness facilities as part of the Community League Wellness Program.
Community members purchasing a card using the EFCL web site will have the card e-mailed to them as an image, which they can save to their smart phone, leave in
their e-mail inbox, or print and save in their wallets.
