City of Edmonton Meeting on Neighborhood Renewal Project Concerns
Grovenor Hall on May 2, 2017 - 6:30 pm

In follow up to our recent inquiries, the City of Edmonton has advised our Board of Directors that the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) inspection for the Year 2 (2014) construction zone (completed in 2014) has not yet been completed. The Year 2 construction zone in Grovenor involved the area between 106 Ave and Stony Plain Road.
Jeff Ward, Director of Building Great Neighbourhoods Infrastructure Delivery, City of Edmonton and Tony Stetito, supervisor have agreed to be available at the Grovenor Hall on May 2 starting at 6:30 pm to discuss specific concerns with Grovenor residents 1 on 1 to ensure that all concerns for the zone identified are identified for inspection as part of the warranty process and prior to sign-off of the FAC.

Mr. Ward also advised that Felix Lam, City Engineer, can be contacted anytime to advise of any outstanding concerns which should be also supported by pictures of the perceived deficiencies related to sidewalks, boulevards, roads, etc. regarding the project.  Mr. Lam’s contact information is as follows: email felix.lam@edmonton.ca or phone 780-944-7695.

The Grovenor Board has set up a gmail account to track concerns raised by residents, so for anyone submitting concerns to the city engineer via email, please also cc  grovenior.nbhd.renwal.fdbk@gmail.com so we can track these concerns.
